Gourmet Fetta and Ricotta Cheese Making Workshop

Fetta cheese is the basis of so many wonderful dishes, why not come and learn how to make it!!  This hands on practical workshop will teach you how to make your own Traditional Cypriot Fetta, with instructions for Danish and Persian Fetta. One product, three ways to modify it for personal taste. You will also make Sour Cream with instructions for Cultured Butter, and lastly your own Ricotta to take home too. Cheese is not difficult to make so let’s get “curdy” and join me in showing you just how easy it is.

  • Bring a small glass jar (300 ml)
  • An Apron
  • A container to take your Fetta and Ricotta home in, a sense of humour, a pen and a love of cheese.

Come join this hands on cheese making workshop where you will make your very own Double Brie cheese to mature and serve to the delight of your family and yourself. You will also produce Sour Cream and Ricotta to take home. Learn the fundamentals of how to make cheese in a comfortable, relaxed learning environment with an experienced tutor and a group of interested people. Bring a 300ml jar, an Apron, a Pen, a container to take your camembert home in and another container for your ricotta.

Bring a snack, a good sense of humour and a passion for learning.

Sourdough Bread Making Workshop

This sourdough class will be hands on using organic flours and will help participants understand the principles of sourdough, the mother culture, how to look after the culture, how to feed it, how to use it and how to love it. We will take the stress out of making bread and learn all about the history of bread and culture and how to make delicious bread, buns, crumpets and a recipe for a few other baked goods. Participants will need to bring 2 mixing bowls not huge, a small baking tray or loaf pan, something to share for lunch, a sense of humour and a passion for kneading to learn the art of sourdough.

Pasta Sauce Workshop

Feeling inspired to make some traditional Italian Pasta? This hands-on class will teach you how to make Pasta…… and turn that into Spaghetti, Fettuccine or Lasagne sheets. We will also make a simple Passata Sauce to pour onto your pasta. If time permits we can heat up the pot and cook it onsite or you take it home to serve to your family. Lots of fun, easy and simple instructions and a relaxed atmosphere to learn in.

Preserves Workshop

As Oscar Wilde would say “to preserve or not to preserve” that in itself is a question. Would you like to know the difference between a Preserve and a Jam? Or would like to know how easy it is to make. This class will elevate or teach you Preserve making skills so you won’t need to buy it again. I  will also teach you an extremely simple Raspberry jam that takes literally NO time to make (it’s also high protein and lower in sugar…win win). 

If you have fruit to spare at home bring it along to use and or share…..let us know prior if possible. Bring some smallish empty glass jars with you on the day.

Lots of fun, easy relaxed atmosphere and delicious Preserves to take home.

Are you finding the thought of cleaning and tidying up to be too much because of all the “stuff” that needs moving before you can actually even start your house chores? Have you had to clear a relative or a friend’s house and you felt overwhelmed by the amount of possessions that needed to be sorted and let go of? 

If you have answered “yes” to one or more of these questions, we would love for you to join us! 

We will use mindfulness, visualizations and other proven techniques to start living more intentionally  and with less physical possessions, but more time and energy to spend on the things you actually LOVE doing.
