Laugh Your Way To Wellness – A six-week Journey of Laughter Yoga

Gain the benefits of laughter yoga that combines the healing benefits of yoga and laughter and is done standing or seated, wearing everyday clothes, and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities.  
 
Phillipa Challis OAM aka The Laughter Lady and CEO of her business Live Life Laughing will facilitate the laughter yoga each week. Known in the laughter industry for having brought laughter yoga to Victoria 22 years ago, the Geelong Advertiser gave her the title Queen of Chuckle because Phillipa guarantees she will put a smile on your face. 
 
The focus of the six-week fun filled Laughter Yoga workshop is to enhance your resilience and improve your physical, mental and emotional health. Laughter has the power to positively impact a person’s quality of life!

Blue Cheesemaking

Sunday 17 March 10am-4pm

Cost: $135

Feeling Blue, then come along and learn how easy it is to make your very own delicious Blue Cheese.

This hands on practical class will teach you how to make a sumptuous Soft Blue cheese which will sit proudly on any cheese board. You will learn how to mature and care for it till it’s ripe enough to devour.

We will also make Quark and Ricotta.

Bring an Apron

A container for both your blue cheese and ricotta to take home.

A pen and a sense of humour.

Fetta Cheesemaking

Sunday 11 February 10am-4pm

Fetta cheese is the basis of so many wonderful dishes, why not come and learn how to make it!!  This hands on practical workshop will teach you how to make your own Traditional Cypriot Fetta, with instructions for Danish and Persian Fetta. One product, three ways to modify it for personal taste.

You will also make Sour Cream with instructions for Cultured Butter, and lastly your own Ricotta to take home too.

Cheese is not difficult to make so let’s get “curdy” and join me in showing you just how easy it is.

Bring a small glass jar (300 ml)

Sourdough Breadmaking

This sourdough class will be hands on using organic flours and will help participants understand the principles of sourdough, the mother culture, how to look after the culture, how to feed it, how to use it and how to love it. We will take the stress out of making bread and learn all about the history of bread and culture and how to make delicious bread, buns, crumpets and a recipe for a few other baked goods. Participants will need to bring 2 mixing bowls not huge, a small baking tray or loaf pan, something to share for lunch, a sense of humour and a passion for kneading to learn the art of sourdough.
