Cheesemaking – Blue Cheese and Sour Cream
Ever wondered How Cheese Is Made?
Well now is your opportunity to find out just how easy it is!
Let me dispel the concept that cheese is difficult to make or make at home.
You will know exactly what is in your cheese, no preservatives no additives no nasties. Your friends and family will be impressed when they find out that… You made it!!
Come and learn the art of making cheese!
In this hands on workshop you will make Blue Cheese and Sour Cream.
You will take all three cheeses home with you, with a little homework to finish them off using the new skills and knowledge gained from just a few hours fun.
All you need do is come with an apron and a basket or bag to carry your cheeses home.
Any age welcome, book with a group of friends or come on your own.

Sourdough Bread making workshop
This sourdough class will be hands on using organic flours and will help participants understand the principles of sourdough, the mother culture, how to look after the culture, how to feed it, how to use it and how to love it. We will take the stress out of making bread and learn all about the history of bread and culture and how to make delicious bread, buns, crumpets and a recipe for a few other baked goods. Participants will need to bring 2 mixing bowls not huge, a small baking tray or loaf pan, something to share for lunch, a sense of humour and a passion for kneading to learn the art of sourdough.
