The Geelong West Neighbourhood House has a new Coordinator!
We are delighted to announce that Lisa Young has accepted the position of inaugural Coordinator as the result of our successful funding application in late 2018.
Lisa comes highly qualified and experienced within the sector and has glowing references. She is available to start on 4 March 2019.
This is a wonderful outcome for all those people who were so committed and passionate about a Neighbourhood House in our local community. We’ve had a lot of help along the way and we are so grateful to everyone who has supported our cause.
It will be 10 years in October 2019 since the inception of GWNH and we are already planning a celebration.
Office hours are Mondays from 10.00am until 12 noon,
at the Geelong West Community Hub,
Rear Office 89 Autumn St., West Geelong, 3218.
Anyone is welcome to drop in.
Geelong West Neighbourhood House held its 2018 AGM on Tuesday 9 October, at 7pm, at Gateways Support Services, Albert St, Geelong West, and our new committee for 2018 has been appointed.
We are also very excited to share the news that the application for Geelong West Neighbourhood House Coordination program funding was successful!
