Watercolour

This class is designed for those wanting to learn basic techniques or for those wanting to refresh existing knowledge and start painting again. You will practice basic wash techniques, gradients and colour merge. We will also explore some colour theory before starting a small project of your own to consolidate the skills you have learnt.

Some watercolour paint provided. 
BYO watercolour paper and brush (details provided in materials list)

Relaxation Art

No previous art skills required and no drawing ability needed. In Relaxation Art we will use art materials as relaxation tools to enter an immersive creative space by exploring colour, pattern and textures. Each class will have guided activities for you to enjoy from using line work and watercolour to floating colours on water to form soothing meditative patterns. Drift away into a creative bubble from everyday anxieties and meet others wanting to discover or rediscover art and make connections

Palette Knife Painting

This beginner class gives you the opportunity to try painting with a knife rather than a traditional brush. We will look at basic marks and strokes that can be made before you choose a subject of you own to complete. You will be supported as you try an abstract or representational subject. Aimed at those who just want to have a go at something they may never have tried before, we will have fun experimenting and enjoy the process of learning.
