The Committee are delighted to have appointed Jonathon Chee to the new Partnerships Development Coordinator position at the neighbourhood house.
Our Winter Solstice will be held on Sunday 23 June 5.30-7.30pm with entertainment, fire twirlers, music, drumming and lantern parade

English Conversation – this class will be free for people whose first language is not English – Wednesday’s 11am
Introducing our new Chair Yoga class, a mindful movement class aimed at people who might not be able to attend a regular mat yoga class, including people with mobility issues, stiff joints, injuries, or those who cannot get down on the floor.
Chair Yoga is practiced sitting in a chair along with optional standing sequences.
The second Healthy Ageing Talks at GWNH will be held June 2nd at 12 noon. This second talk is focused around Perimenopause, Menopause and Postmenopause, so should be relevant to women of all ages. We are so lucky to have Dr. Yvonne McCartney, a GP who is passionate about women’s health and a member of The Australasian Menopause Society to present on this topic.
Our centre will be closed for renovations from Monday March 27 and will reopen Tuesday May 2. Some of our classes will be relocated to other venues during this time, your tutor will provide you with details of the alternative venue.
Our office will be closed during this period of time and unable to take payments. All payments will be accepted during term 2, which will start after May 2.
