Introducing our new Chair Yoga class, a mindful movement class aimed at people who might not be able to attend a regular mat yoga class, including people with mobility issues, stiff joints, injuries, or those who cannot get down on the floor.
Chair Yoga is practiced sitting in a chair along with optional standing sequences. It can help improve strength, joint health, spinal mobility, balance, posture, breathing & heart health, as well as create more resilience in the nervous system. All of these benefits can aid in reducing stress, preventing falls and keeping the body, mind & spirit happy and healthy for greater well-being.
Class includes breathing practices, stretches, joint rotations & strengthening sequences, concluding with a lovely guided relaxation. No yoga experience necessary.
